Advanced Radiology Consultants, SC of Illinois encompasses eleven sites, including Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. Located in Park Ridge, Illinois, with a staff of 20 board certified radiologists, ARC provides reading services for more than 250,000 studies per year in the Chicago area.
Their primary objective, at ARC, is to improve radiologist productivity and workflow. The MEDxConnect Solution does exactly that, providing connectivity and interoperability that links the various RIS/PACS/archiving solutions from Merge Healthcare, Siemens, MedInformatix, General Electric (GE), and InSiteOne. This seamless connectivity provides radiologists with a single virtual worklist across the entire enterprise, allowing them to fully utilize their subspecialty expertise, getting the right information to the right physician regardless of where the data was generated or the physician is located.
Medical Imaging Northwest (MINW)
Medical Imaging Northwest is a group of private practice radiologists, technologists and staff committed to providing the finest medical imaging technology to our patients, and the communities they serve. Medical Imaging Northwest offers a broad range of services at multiple locations and provides quick, accurate reporting. Supporting 12 sites in Tacoma, Gig Harbor, Puyallup, Bonney Lake, Auburn, Covington and Northshore in South King and Pierce Counties in Washington State with 23 board certified radiologists, MINW reads and creates nearly, 350,000 diagnostic imaging exams a year. MINW selected Compressus to complete an Enterprise-wide integration of its disparate RIS, PACS, voice recognition (VR) software and workstation viewers by early 2009. Involving the installation of a spectrum of MEDxConnect™ System components, the implementation is designed to provide workflow and data management, workflow viewing, patient ID management and short term archiving requirements to support its service expansion goals of handling more than 550,000 diagnostic imaging exams a year.
The Newport MRI Center provides state-of-the-art imaging services to patients in the Las Vegas area. Closely associated with the Nevada Spine Institute, the center specializes in spinal imaging. The Nevada Spine Clinic is a high-tech facility that provides comprehensive care to patients with neck and back disorders. Their spine-focused multidisciplinary team is experienced in both conservative and surgical treatments of the spine, as well as cutting-edge research and technological advances.
Penn Imaging of Humble conducts radiological reading and diagnostic services in the suburbs of Houston, Texas. They provide efficient diagnostic interpretation and report generation for Green Oak Diagnostics and Hillcroft Medical Clinic using the MEDxConnect suite of products.
Penn Imaging's objective is to effectively leverage the subspecialty capabilities of their radiologists and maximize productivity while supporting their multi-distanced imaging centers. The MEDxConnect solution affords them efficient routing and reading of patient cases regardless of where the designated radiologist happens to be at a given time. Additionally, the MEDxConnect technology has been implemented at Green Oak Diagnostics with a seamless interface to their MedInformatix RIS system. This communications link provides Green Oak with enhanced patient data routing, faster turn around time in report generation and updating, and better patient safety through increased electronic records keeping. The MEDxConnect interoperability solution has given Penn Imaging of Humble an IT based foundation to more easily grow their business and accommodate greater patient volumes.

Radiology Associates of the Fox Valley is committed to providing high quality, comprehensive, state of the art diagnostic and therapeutic imaging services. Since 1939 Northeastern Wisconsin has been the home of Radiology Associates of the Fox Valley. During this time, RAFV earned the reputation as the area’s experts in providing the most innovative radiologic services. Supporting 9 hospital sites and multiple clinics in the Northeastern Wisconsin area with 33 board certified radiologists, RAFV’s implementation involves the installation of a spectrum of MEDxConnect™ System components, enabling various PACS, HIS, RIS and other data information systems to connect and communicate across the Enterprise. The digital workflow management solution from Compressus is designed to support a facility’s current and expanded workload and provide an infrastructure for sustained growth. Building the functionality required for remote connectivity, the system enables users to access diagnostic images and reports in the existing data stores at each facility, increasing the level of medical care while reducing the associated costs.
