The DM2 (Document Meditator Module) solution provides a cost-effective, consistent application for use by facilities without other capabilities to capture non-electronic documents for viewing by users anywhere in the network. The DM2 can attain documents from any scanner or data system and present them in JPEG on the Compressus Virtual Worklist, in DICOM for storage in PACS or both.
The OM2 (Order Mediator Module) is an application designed to generate order information for facilities that do not have a RIS/HIS that supports HL-7 messages. The OM2 acquires key data elements for the header of a DICOM image and creates an order to be used internally by the MEDxConnect platform. In addition, the solution has the ability to generate an HL-7 message for use by other IT systems in the enterprise.
The M3 (Medical Message Mediator) is the core component of the MEDxConnect solution. Acting as the conductor of the platform the M3 orchestrates all functionality including but not limited to routing, patient matching, relevant priors, Workpacket generation, study distribution balancing, business reporting and workflow management. The system incorporates industry established 3rd party software services for database stability, sophisticated business process management and a Web services architecture, combined with Compressus’ proven domain expertise applications.
