Washington, DC, December 15, 2013–Earlier this month, Laszlo Gasztonyi, Compressus Chief Technology Officer, participated in a webinar with Dan Pelino, IBM Global Public Sector General Manager, for CEOs, CIOs and other executives of large hospital organizations. The webinar highlighted the need for enhanced workflow applications like Compressus in the evolving healthcare market.
In the webinar, Dan Pelino spoke to the challenges of the newly developed Accountable Care Organization (ACO) model, and highlighted the successes and failures of 32 “Pioneer” ACO’s. He correlated those results with their use of Electronic Medical Record systems, and discussed the need for enhanced workflow applications like Compressus.
Laszlo Gasztonyi discussed the market challenges from the hospital CIO perspective, and provided insight into the Compressus technology and how it provides the scalability and flexibility that CIOs will need as the healthcare models change.
The webinar concluded in a joint question and answer session with candid and straightforward responses from both presenters.
